Two of my blog friends really need your cyber hugs and support right now. Both mothers are both dealing with the heart wrenching one year anniversary of the loss of their babies.
Heather, who blogs at The Spohrs Are Multiplying, lost her 17 month daughter, Maddie on April 8, 2009. She and her husband Mike have since given birth to a beautiful daughter, Annie. Heather could really use your words of support right now.
Shana, who blogs at Gorillabuns, lost her 5 month old son, Thalon to SIDS on April 10, 2009. Shana has two beautiful daughters Celia and Moira. Shana could also use your words of encouragement during this difficult time.
A big thanks to Terry and Gene for helping me with the pruning (and saving our company $$$) of the flower beds in the back of our building at work. I was using my office scissors to cut down some liriope last week and Terry offered to bring his weed eater in to speed along the process and save my back! And Gene took his chainsaw to the very tall and dry ornamental grass so the new growth could come out. Now our back patio looks like a garden, and not like this...
And, not to mention it's not a fire hazard, since that area is also the smoking area!! Just ask Meatbag, he was very impressed with the way it all turned it out.
Oh, and btw, she must be loaded!! And by loaded, I mean richer than Richie Rich.
As reported on Dlisted, the grandma above is in luuuuuve with her grandson above. **sorry, I just threw up in my mouth again** Here are some of the sorted details...
Pearl Carter is positively glowing with joy. She has a handsome new boyfriend, is enjoying an active sex life after many years of celibacy and, amazingly, is preparing to become a mother again.
But the retired grandmother isn't carrying the baby herself. She and her young lover have spent a staggering $54,000 hiring a surrogate to help them with their dreams of having a child.
What makes Pearl's decision to become a mum again even more shocking is that her new boyfriend is her biological grandson, 26-year-old Phil Bailey.
Phil is the son of Pearl's daughter Lynette Bailey, and the pair is braving public horror and even prison by breaking one of the last taboos – incest.
I'm sorry, I cannot copy and paste any more of this dribble (tee hee...I said "dribble"), because I firmly (I also said "firmly") believe that there has been a few cases of incest in this family in the past. If you get my drift....**wink, wink**
Massey Offers $3M Each To Dead Miners' Families
Sounds to me like Massey knows they are up a shit creek with any Charmin.
It makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear a story about another mining accident. This is the 21st century! We shouldn't still be sending men into the ground to dig for coal.
That's my opinion anyway.

Did you notice they were described as "charming" on the sellers etsy page?? I'm sorry...you cannot use the words belly button lint and charming in the same sentence!!!

What was that? You would like a miniature horse named Einstein for your birthday?? Well, sure! Anything for my little bloggy blog blog! **mwah**
Please, please, please?!?!?!? I promise to feed him, and love him, and give him a bath and do whatever else horse owners have to do for their horses.....PLLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE!!!!
I mean....come on, tell me this is NOT the cutest little thing you have EVER seen!?!?!?!?
The only problem may be getting it away from it's current owners, but I have faith in Dunnski!
**Ohhhh...I wonder if he will wrap it up in a big box to try and surprise me...tee hee**
Four-year-old Garrett Mullen watches three-day-old pinto stallion named Einstein in Barnstead, N.H., Sunday, April 25,2010. The diminutive horse born in New Hampshire could lay claim to the world record for lightweight foal. The pinto stallion named Einstein weighed just 6 pounds and measured 14 inches in height when he was born Friday in Barnstead, N.H. Those proportions fit a human baby just about right but are downright tiny for horse, even a miniature breed like Einstein. (Associated Press Sunday April 25th, 2010)

I could watch HGTV 24 hours a day....
I was home sick with strep throat yesterday and I was watching a new show on HGTV I would LOVE to be on!! The show is for amateur designers and it's called, First Time Design. The episode I watched gave a homemaker from Cincinnati the opportunity to redecorate a Los Angeles home in 4 days with a budget of $7,500. How awesome is that!?!?!
They do have a professional designer on hand for advice and mentoring, but all of the design decisions are their own. What a great idea! I sooooo want to be on this show!!!

My mind (and not to mention, Dunnski) tell me this isn't a good thing. But my heart and my stomach tell me something very different, and since I LOVE the KFC Mashed Potato Bowl, I would probably like this too....
The brave cast of NPR's 'Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me!' take on KFC's new Double Down....and live to tell their stories!

Who I would actually like to thank are the millions of Americans who didn't vote for Katie Steven's Tuesday night on American Idol. I must say, I haven't let someone creep me out as much as Katie in a long time. I think it's because she reminded of this really creepy doll I had when I was little. And, her face is more obwide, instead of oblong...shudder!
And....were all the celebrities who have ANYTHING to do with music busy Tuesday night? I mean, come on, Adam Lambert as the host mentor?!?!?!
I guess the crew that is left is OK. I mean the chick with dreads, Crystal, can really sing. The other chick, Siobhan can belt out a tune as well. The only guy left that I like is Lee, the dude right behind chickee with the dreads. I can understand why Big Mike and Casey are still around. What I can't get my head around is why on earth Aaron and Tim are still on the show. Can you say "LAME???"
I still find myself asking the same question every week..."why am I still watching this stupid show?" I never seem to answer my own question...
