Christmas funnies...

Damn it!!!

I knew somebody would eventually take me picture if I kept shopping at Walmart!

But....they do fill ins on my nails for only $13 bucks!!!

Easy and inexpensive Christmas treat...

While shopping at The Fresh Market during Thanksgiving I saw these really cute turkey shaped cookie cutters filled with chocolate decorated with sprinkles. I had a great idea to make these for Christmas with Christmas cookie cutters. While shopping at Big Lots (one of my favorite stores) after Halloween, I ran into a bin of Christmas tree, snowman and Christmas bell cookie cutters....for .10!!! I was so excited that I bought all they had.

Preparing them was so simple and fun. I bought some chocolate bark and melted it and then poured it in each of the cookie cutters. Then sprinkled each of them with sprinkles that I found at the Dollar Tree. Once they hardened, I put each one in a little Christmas baggie that I found at Target in the dollar aisle, tied with a pretty ribbon and tag.

Best Christmas decoration EVER!!!

Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after two days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn’t realize that it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of the many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn’t take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard.

The reason for the season...

Underwire bras and the DMV

So, last week I went to the SS office and had my last name officially changed to Dunnski...it was awesome. I then had to wait 24 hours before I could get my new drivers license. A couple of days later I went to the DMV with the required paperwork. As I passed through the metal detector at the door it beeped. I was asked to step back through....it beeped again. The lady officer asked me if I had anything in my pockets or any piercings????? Ummmmm.....no.....but I do have on an underwire bra??? Ohhhhh.....she says...and then proceeds to feel me up with the back of her hand. WTF? Like I was lying? WHAT can you hide in your bra under your bewbies??? Oh well...back to the story. I was really excited about getting a new picture on my license, my last one was NOT good. After it was made I was showing it to my brother and he made a comment about how he looked like a drug dealer in his picture, and I told him that mine was so bad that I looked like one his customers! So, I sat in the chair and primped my hair and smiled my best smile. And smiled. And smiled. OMG...when is she going to take this picture! The moment I stopped smiling, she took the damn picture. So now, my picture on my license looks like a dead hooker.

Give it on up to Homelessville!!!!

I'm back....sorry I have been M.I.A. so long.

It has been a long 3 weeks since I last posted. I had my second lithotripsy surgery on my left kidney, I have passed over 25 kidney stones from my two surgeries, took a quick trip to Vegas, lost some good friends in a layoff at work and am recovering from bronchitis that was teetering on phenomena. So, you might see why I was a little discombobulated (I have always wanted to use that word in a blog post...tee hee).

Work sucks. I mean, misshapen hairy donkey balls with cysts hanging off them sucks. Some co-workers I have recently talked to say if they didn't have kids to support...they would quit and be living out of their cars or under a bridge right now. It sucks the breath and life out of you everyday. You go home and want nothing more than to curl up in a ball and rock back and forth for comfort. Part of me is grateful I have a job. But then, there is a small part of me that sometimes wishes that I won't wake up in the morning and have to do it all over again. I think I need to go back to my DR and get new antidepressants.

Oh well, enough about me. How has everyone been doing? Ready for the Holidays?

I leave you today with this little jingle from J.T. Enjoy.

Oh, and here is one of my favorite pic from Vegas....
