Ouch!

Last night I was giving myself a mini pedicure with my Tweezerman Callus Shaver. It removes dry rough skin from your heels in seconds. As I was putting it away, I must have forgotten there is a razor blade inside this little gadget, and I almost cut the tip of my thumb off. I will spare you and not be posting any pictures of my bloody stump of a thumb.

Ouch! I once cut my thumb with a knife and I swear it hurt at times worse than childbirth. Your hands are the worse place to have a cut :-) Hope you heal soon.

This morning I attempted to use a pair of sharp scissors to fix a small metal closure that had broken in a chain. Smart, right? I'll spare you pics of my cut, too! :) Hope you heal fast!

Holy cow - what the hell are you doing taking a razor to your feet? Gentle abrasion might take a bit longer, but it's less likely to cause serious damage (emphasis on the "gentle").

Ouch ouch ouch....I've taken chunks out my heels with those things!!!!

Well Don, those razors work magic when one has extreme hard skin and the abrasion just doesn't do the trick. I get a lot around the outer edge of my heels and no amount of scrubbing with a pumice or steel 'grater' shifts it for long.

I love a Shanghai pedicure, they are THE best. Don't ever go to an amateur though, they use big blades, like chisels with a scalpel-sharp edge. I haven't been for a while but could definitely use one.....perhaps next weekend :)

Hope your thumb heals soon!

Just get a fish pedi and skip the razors.

It is fine on my feet. I just need to watch it around my fingers. ;u)
